1. About these terms
This website is operated by Palace Tours ("Palace Trains", "we", "us"). By using this website or making an enquiry or booking through us, you agree to these terms. Palace Trains acts as a travel agent and reservations specialist; the trains and journeys featured are owned and operated by independent third-party operators.
2. Information & itineraries
As set out above, all content on this site — including train descriptions, cabin and accommodation details, day-by-day itineraries, attractions, maps, photography, prices and departure calendars — is indicative and provided to the best of our knowledge at the time of publishing. Operators may amend routes, timings, stops, excursions, vehicles, vessels, on-board facilities and inclusions without prior notice. Your final, confirmed itinerary and inclusions will be those communicated to you in your booking confirmation and final travel documentation, which we prepare following direct confirmation with the operator/vendor for your specific departure.
3. Prices & currency
Prices shown are "from" guide prices and vary by cabin or suite category, season, occupancy, party size and currency, and may exclude taxes, government levies (e.g. GST), gratuities and optional extras. Prices are not guaranteed until confirmed in writing at the time of booking. Where prices are displayed in a currency, that reflects the operator's published tariff and may be subject to exchange and operator adjustments.
4. Bookings & confirmation
An enquiry does not constitute a booking. A booking is confirmed only once we have received the required deposit or payment and issued a written confirmation. At that point we provide your confirmed itinerary, inclusions, pricing and conditions based on our communication with the operator for your chosen departure.
5. Changes & cancellations
Itineraries, routes, stops, excursions and on-board or off-train activities may be changed, substituted, shortened or cancelled by the operator at any time — including at short notice or at the last minute — as it is the operator's right and at their sole discretion (for operational, safety, weather, logistical, regulatory or other reasons). Such changes are the operator's prerogative and are outside Palace Trains' control, and do not in themselves entitle you to a refund except as provided by the operator's own terms. Operator and supplier cancellation, amendment and refund policies apply to every booking and will be provided to you before you confirm.
6. Errors, omissions & liability
We are not responsible for any missing, misprinted, typographical, inaccurate, incomplete or out-of-date information on this website. Palace Trains takes care to present accurate information but does not warrant that all content is complete, current or error-free, and accepts no liability for any reliance on website content — including any error, omission or misprint — that is later corrected or superseded by your confirmed booking documentation. Where any website content conflicts with your confirmed itinerary and final documentation, the confirmed documentation prevails. Nothing in these terms limits liability that cannot be limited under applicable law.
